The innovative Smart robotic systems, already successfully tested in bags automatic picking, cutting and emptying (SmartPick) are now used in boxes automatic opening and emptying.
SmartBoxOpener is a robotic cell where the robot is placed between the pallets and the emptying device, as an operator would do, depalletizing boxes from pallet, opening them and dumping in one or more hoppers.
It's so possible to have only one robot that, for exemple in food or chemical sector, picks the boxes from different pallets containing different components (solid or liquid), opens the boxes and doses the contents into a scale in order to prepare a batch or a recipe.
