SmartPack-BA plastic pellets coumpound bag filling

Two SmartPack plants for bagging plastic granules compounds have been started up in production at a leader in the production of thermoplastic technopolymer granules.

A first plant will mainly be used to package the product from nylon based technopolymer extrusion lines. Given the hygroscopicity of this product, an open-mouth multi-layer aluminum bag with air vent valve was chosen. The bag is heat-sealed with SmartWeld for optimal sealing.

A second plant dedicated to PC and ABS packaging will operate with a micro-perforated and heat-sealed PE bag with a heat impulse system.

SmartPack is based on a cutting-edge compact concept that is based on the use of a six-axis anthropomorphic robot both for handling the empty bag and for handling the bag filled with 25Kg of product.
